Four members of the Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue Department were celebrated today for finishing the Advanced EMT program at the New England EMS Institute (NEEMSI).

The inaugural training session in the new Public Safety Building training room was hosted by Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue. FF/EMT Taylor French, FF/EMT Hunter Wrigley, FF/EMT Lucas Jesseman, and Deputy Chief of Operations Nate Nichols are among the graduates. Over 200 hours of classroom teaching, roughly 40 hours of hospital clinical training, and 40 hours of ambulance ride experience made up the Advanced EMT program.

Wolfeboro Fire-Rescue now has twelve full-time advanced EMS providers and three call members with advanced EMS certification thanks to the completion of this course, which was a crucial part of the department's fire-based ambulance transport program.
