December 7, 2025 — The Copiague Fire Department joined communities across the nation on Sunday to remember and honor the brave service members lost during the attack on Pearl Harbor 84 years ago.

Marking December 7, 1941, a date etched into American history, the department paid tribute to the sailors and soldiers aboard the USS Arizona and other vessels who perished when the base was consumed by fire and destruction. The remembrance highlighted the enduring sacrifice of those who answered the call of duty during one of the darkest moments of World War II.
