On 8th Dec 2025 , East Patchogue — VFW Post 8300 is inviting the community to support its first annual fundraiser, aimed at benefiting local veterans and ongoing post programs. The fundraiser features raffle tickets available for a $50 donation, with multiple cash prizes to be awarded.

The drawing will take place on December 13 during halftime of the Army–Navy football game at VFW Post 8300, located at 330 North Dunton Avenue in East Patchogue. The grand prize is $3,000, with additional prizes of $1,000 for second through sixth place and $500 for seventh through tenth place. Participants do not need to be present to win, and all donors must be 18 years of age or older.

Members of VFW Post 8300 will be on site today between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. for those wishing to purchase tickets with cash or Venmo. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward supporting veterans, their families, and community initiatives led by the post.

Organizers encourage residents to participate and show their support for local veterans while having a chance to win one of several prizes.
