Nov. 29, 2025 — The Bay Shore Fire Department Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 has officially opened its 25th Annual Christmas Tree Lot Fundraiser, continuing a long-standing holiday tradition that supports the department’s operations and community service efforts. Located at 195 Fifth Avenue in Bay Shore, the tree lot offers a selection of fresh Christmas trees, along with wreaths and raffles, and includes free local delivery for residents. The lot opened on Nov. 24 and will operate Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fire department officials encourage community members to stop by, support local volunteers, and help ensure continued fire protection services throughout the area.
