Andover, Mass. — November 29 — As part of continuing training, firefighters assigned to Unit 4 reviewed SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) operations with a probationary fireman.
The evolutions centered on being acquainted with the SCBA, using it correctly, and developing confidence. The purpose of these training sessions is to get new firefighters ready for both impending training at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy and real-world operations.
