Career Opportunity Opens in Nashua Fire Alarm Division

Applications are being accepted by the City of Nashua for the position of Fire Alarm Operator with Nashua Fire Rescue. In order to effectively serve the community, this full-time role is essential for handling emergency calls, coordinating responses, keeping logs, and keeping an eye on alarm systems.
The job has a rotating work plan that alternates between 10-hour day shifts and 14-hour night shifts, with days off in between. Overtime is required as necessary. The position is affiliated with IAFF Local 789 and has a starting pay of no more than $60,954 per year. Candidates with experience in emergency communications are given preference. A valid driver's license, a high school graduation or its equivalent, the capacity to operate computers and alarm systems, respond to callbacks, and function in emergency situations are all prerequisites.
