NEW BRITAIN, CT - A fire claimed one life and left another person with critical burns at a house fire at 115 Belden Street on December 18, 2023.

A man with serious burns jumped from a second-floor window and was in the hospital in critical condition. A woman was later found dead in an illegal attic apartment.

The cause is under invesigation.
