York Area United Fire & Rescue Awarded T-Mobile Hometown Grant for Hybrid Staff Vehicle

YORK COUNTY, PA - On Saturday, December 16, 2023, the members of York Area United Fire & Rescue were presented with a check for $50,000 as a recipient of the T-Mobile Hometown Grant. This grant will be used to assist the department with beginning the process of replacing the older staff vehicles with cutting edge hybrid technology style vehicles. This will provide the department a cost-effective and fuel-efficient vehicle while still ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. T-Mobile is investing nearly $25,000,000 in over 500 towns/communities over the next five years as part of this Hometown Grant program.
