FALL RIVER, MA - On December 18, 2023, the east coast of New England was hit by a large storm that produced hurricane force winds and heavy rains. The city of Fall River experienced wide spread power outages, power lines down, roofing materials blown from roofs, and a tree that took out a power pole and damaged a three-decker. The occupants of the three-story home had to be assisted by the Red Cross to find temporary shelter.
