ROCKY POINT, NY - On November 29, 2025, the Rocky Point Fire Department was activated for a reported auto body shop on fire on RT 25A. 5A7-31 arrived on scene, had heavy smoke showing and quickly reactivated the working fire. Rocky Point Engine 7 arrived on scene and started extinguishing the fire. Rocky Point Truck 14 arrived on scene and started primary searches that were found negative. The fire was knocked down within 30 minutes, and the scene was placed under control within one hour.
