Deposit, NY — March 14th — The Deposit Fire Department responded Saturday evening to assist with a mutual aid structure fire in Preston Township. Northern Wayne Fire initially requested Deposit's Pumper-Tanker for the scene, but additional resources were sought as the situation progressed.

The department then despatched its Rescue, Squad, and Pumper-Tanker. All three units responded and aided with firefighting operations, alongside personnel from Northern Wayne and other responding agencies.

Deposit firemen assisted with suppression and operating tasks for approximately an hour before being discharged from the scene. After clearing, the units returned to service and were ready for more calls.
