Mashpee, Mass. — December 5 —The Mashpee Fire Department expressed gratitude to the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association and MVMA Charities for providing a brand-new pet oxygen mask kit. The apparatus has been set up on the new Ladder 1 in the department.

Firefighters can give oxygen to rescued pets during emergencies thanks to the specially made masks for dogs and cats. All frontline Mashpee Fire equipment now has the ability to administer pet oxygen thanks to this upgrade. According to department officials, the donation guarantees care for all members of the community, including animals, and boosts the entire response.
