Norwalk, Conn. — December 6 — In anticipation of the city's Holiday Extravaganza, the Norwalk Fire Department Technical Rescue Team finished their rappelling training at 50 Washington Street. In preparation for a live community display over the weekend, the training concentrated on safe and controlled descents.

Captain Whitney King is in charge of the group. During the occasion, seasoned firefighters Dennis and David Dustin will play Santa and the Grinch. To guarantee safe operations, members finished several weeks of preparation.
