Witmer Fire Protective Association’s Pumper-Tanker 62 was placed on standby at the Manheim Fire Department on November 28, 2025, as crews operated at a working building fire in the borough. The assignment provided additional water supply and operational support while Manheim firefighters managed suppression efforts at the scene.

Mutual aid resources, including Witmer’s Pumper-Tanker 62, play a critical role during extended or labor-intensive incidents, ensuring adequate coverage and allowing primary crews to focus on fire control and overhaul operations.
