Nov. 6, 2025 | Akron Volunteer Fire Company No. 12 — Members of the Akron Volunteer Fire Company spent the morning at Millway School, where students received fire prevention and safety education and had the opportunity to ask questions about emergency response. After classroom discussions, students were invited outside to see Rescue 12 and learn about its equipment up close. Shortly after concluding the visit, Rescue 12 was dispatched to assist Station 16 (Lincoln Fire Company) with a field fire in Clay Township, highlighting a day that blended community outreach with active emergency service.
