Engine 19-1 Assists with Large Corn Field Fire in Lancaster County

November 6, 2025 | Schoeneck Fire Company — Engine 19-1, staffed with a crew of eight, responded this afternoon to assist Station 16 (Lincoln) with a large standing corn field fire. Crews worked to contain the rapidly spreading fire and extinguish a control burn that escaped due to conditions. Approximately 10 acres of corn field were impacted before the fire was brought under control. No injuries were reported.
