Westfield, PA - On 18th February 2026 multiple fire departments like Crary Hose, Chatham Fire, Clymer Fire, Knoxville Fire, Elkland (RIT), and Sabinsville Ambulance were dispatched to the scene of a reported structure fire involving a garage.
Engine 5-3 arrived first on scene and reported heavy fire throughout a two-car garage. Crews immediately stretched a 2½-inch hose line to begin fire suppression efforts. Tanker 5-5 arrived shortly after, supplying Engine 5-3 with water while its crew deployed a 1¾-inch hose line. Tanker 6-5 then arrived to continue water supply operations after Tanker 5-5 was depleted.
Assistant Chief Hyler assumed Command, with Captain Adams overseeing Operations. Firefighters from all responding departments worked together to aggressively attack the fire, bringing it under control within 15 minutes of arrival.
Assistant Chief Hyler expressed appreciation to all departments for their assistance and hard work at the scene. Chief Goltz also extended special thanks to Tioga County Dispatchers, Henry Seeley, Coordinator Brian Davenport, and all mutual aid departments for their support and coordination during the incident.
