On 16th nov 2025- Robert Fulton Fire Company volunteers were dispatched just after midnight Sunday to a hazardous tree and wire fire along the 100 block of Cedar Hill Road, marking yet another response in an exceptionally busy weekend for the department.
At 12:11 a.m. on Nov. 16, Brush 89 responded to reports of a tree limb that had fallen onto live electrical wires and ignited. Firefighters secured the scene while utility crews from PPL were requested. Once the wires were safely de-energized and the limb cut free, RFFC crews extinguished the remaining fire and cleared debris from the residence’s driveway.
A total of 10 volunteers were on scene for approximately 55 minutes. The incident represented the sixth emergency response handled by the company since Friday morning, in addition to staffing and serving 265 community members during the department’s Breakfast with Santa event earlier in the weekend.
Fire officials reminded residents to report downed wires immediately and to always assume fallen lines are energized until confirmed otherwise.
