Mt. Bethel Firefighters Complete Advanced Extrication Training

WARREN, N.J. — November 23 — Members of the Mt. Bethel Fire Company finished a Vehicle Extrication Technician course conducted by Rescue Products International and hosted by the New Vernon Fire Department. Advanced extrication techniques, such as stabilisation, tool positioning, and safe patient access during severe auto accidents, were the main topics of the seminar. According to fire officials, these abilities promote safer operations for both responders and occupants and increase efficiency on the site.

Participants practiced methods for confined spaces and received instruction on contemporary car designs. The department stated that while vehicle construction and rescue issues continue to evolve, continuous technical training is crucial for preserving readiness. According to Mt. Bethel firemen, the abilities acquired will enable quicker and more efficient assistance to locals during urgent situations.
