Mutual Aid Strengthens Regional Fireground Efforts

WARREN, N.J. — November 15 — Near response to a reported structure fire near Martinsville, the Mt. Bethel Fire Company joined personnel working under the Somerset County mutual aid system with Ladder 61. After confirming the existence of an active fire, first-arriving units started coordinated activities, including as interior checks, ventilation, and water delivery. By helping with ladder operations and assisting teams in reaching higher parts of the structure, Mt. Bethel firemen assisted these efforts.

In order to preserve safety and guarantee that responsibilities were carried out effectively, mutual assistance organizations sent extra personnel. The episode demonstrated the importance of regional coordination during working fires, according to officials. The Mt.
