Audubon, NJ - Audubon Fire Department’s Quint 1 was dispatched to the 500 block of White Horse Pike following a report of a vehicle fire involving downed wires. Upon arrival, firefighters found primary wires on the ground that were energized and ignited.

PSEG arrived on scene within the hour, and the situation was brought under control.

The department reminds the public to never approach wires on the ground and to always treat all wires as energized, maintaining a safe distance.
