Brookhaven N.Y.- On the morning of November 19 th the South Country Ambulance hosted a touch a
truck event organized by the Brookhaven Free Library. The community was invited to ambulance HQ and
the kids were able to see, learn about and touch emergency equipment from different agencies.
Agencies that showed off their vehicles and equipment included South Country Ambulance, Bellport Fire
Department, Hagerman Fire Department, Suffolk Police 5 th precinct and the library also had their mobile
library on site as well. The community members that attended had a great time as did all the members
of the agencies that participated.
