DEPOSIT, N.Y. — November 25 — The Deposit Fire Department showcased Car 22, a Dodge Ram 3500 built to support multiple important organizational functions, for this week's Truck Tuesday. The vehicle is mostly allocated to the Prevention and Pre-Planning Division of the agency, where it is utilized for site visits, inspections, and planning operations aimed at lowering community risk.

When unique equipment is required for incidents or training missions, Car 22 also acts as a transport unit. It is also designated as a Storm Emergency Fire Unit (SEFU), enabling the department to use it for damage assessment, scene support, and quick response during severe weather events.
