Confined Space Rescue Awareness was the focus of this month's bi-monthly rescue exercise, which provided participants with an organized overview of the risks and operational issues they can encounter during these infrequent but dangerous situations. The group was guided through typical situations by the instructors, such as limited ventilation, restricted entry points, and the difficulties of patient access in confined spaces.

After that, crews participated in live simulations to practice how they would assist a specialized Confined Space Rescue team in a real-world emergency. During the session, retrieval mechanisms were set up, air monitoring equipment was managed, and entry crew contact was coordinated. The drill reinforced the importance of preparation and teamwork, ensuring members understand their roles when assisting at these technically demanding calls.
