Ravena, N.Y. — December 1 — On Monday night, the Ravena Fire Department, located at 116 Main St., conducted its weekly training and community outreach activities. Members gathered at the station for their scheduled drill, reinforcing essential skills as winter conditions bring increased call volume and varied response needs.

At the same time, other personnel spent several hours with local residents during a Propane Safety Class. The program reviewed safe use, storage practices, and common cold-weather risks, helping community members better understand how to prevent propane-related incidents.
