FDNY plans to Commemorate the 25thAnniversary of 9/11

FDNY News – Today Commissioner Robert S Tucker & Chief of Department John Esposito and FDNY Foundation Chairman Matthew J. DiLiberto announced plans to Commemorate the 25thAnniversary of 9/11. The department will commemorate the 25thAnniversary of the September 11th attacks that will honor the 343 FDNY members who made the Supreme Sacrifice that day and the more than 400 members who have died since from World Trade Center related illnesses. The department also unveiled 9/11 25th Anniversary Emblem. The FDNY’s 25th Anniversary Commemoration Plan includes: Official ceremony at Ferry Hawks Stadium on 9/09/2026.
