Litchfield Engine 4 and Rescue 1 Handle MVA by High School

Litchfield, NH – December 6: Litchfield Fire Rescue arrived at a two-car collision on Albuquerque Avenue close to Campbell High School at 10:50 a.m. this morning. A Hudson ambulance, Engine 4, and Rescue 1 were sent to the scene. Both drivers were evaluated by crews. After being assessed by medical professionals, two people refused to be transported. Before leaving the scene, firefighters evaluated the vehicles involved for dangers and made sure the highway was safe.

This incident serves as a reminder of the ordinary but crucial effort needed to maintain the safety of local roadways during peak school and daytime commuting times. Litchfield Fire Rescue advises drivers to exercise caution and alertness when driving through high-traffic areas and school zones.
