Windham Fire Joins Mutual Aid in Derry Structure Fire

Windham, NH – December – 5 A structure fire on Island Pond Road in Derry, New Hampshire, prompted the response of the Windham Fire Department and Emergency Management, located at 3 Fellows Road. Chief McPherson's Windham units Engine 2, Tanker 2, and C-1 responded to the request to help Derry crews. Firefighters from Windham assisted with water supply and fireground operations. The fire was contained and the area was secured following concerted efforts. This mutual-aid reaction demonstrates how departments collaborate, pooling personnel and equipment across town borders when necessary. The issue was successfully responded to and resolved safely because to Windham's assistance.
