East Kingston, N.H. — October 9 — At approximately 11:43 p.m. on Friday, the East Kingston Fire Department was dispatched to Sanborn Road to address a single-vehicle motor vehicle collision. Following a report of a single-occupant vehicle collision, emergency response teams were immediately mobilized. Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived at the scene to evaluate the situation and administer necessary medical care.
Given the exigencies of the call, an automatic request was generated for a Plaistow Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit to deploy supplementary medical assets. Upon arrival, the responding emergency medical services teams conducted a comprehensive assessment of the occupant and subsequently facilitated hospital transportation.
A patient was conveyed to Portsmouth Regional Hospital accompanied by a trauma team activation, a protocol that enabled emergency staff to preposition resources and deliver the requisite standard of care upon the patient's arrival. According to WMUR, the incident, which involved a solitary vehicle, took place around 11:45 p.m. on Sanborn Road, while initial media reports withheld details regarding the patient's condition.
Situated at 5 Main Street, the East Kingston Fire Department delivered essential fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical care to both the local community and neighboring regions engaged in mutual-aid agreements. The incident underscored the critical necessity for seamless coordination among local fire departments, emergency medical services, and regional paramedic units when addressing severe medical emergencies.
