Berkley, MA — November 10 — On Monday, Berkley Fire and Rescue Department members joined Berkley Police on the town common for a Veterans Day ceremony honoring those who have served in the US military. The occasion gave the community a chance to express gratitude to active-duty military troops and veterans.

Firefighter/Medic Nick DeAndrade, who is presently serving overseas with the U.S. Army, received special recognition from the department. During the ceremony, his ongoing contributions to the community and the country were emphasized.
