Lambertville Firefighters Conduct Chauffeur Training on Rescue Engine 17

November 13, 2025 — Members of the Lambertville Fire District #1 completed chauffeur training this morning on Rescue Engine 17, focusing on critical drafting and hydrant operations.


The hands-on session utilized two of the city’s primary water sources, giving operators practical experience in securing and maintaining reliable water supply under real-world conditions. Department officials said this type of training is essential to ensure engineers are fully prepared to support fire suppression efforts anywhere in the city.


The district emphasized that continued driver and pump training plays a vital role in maintaining fast, effective, and safe emergency operations.
