November 22, 2025 — The Haines City Fire Department hit the court this past Saturday against the HCPD in the annual Hoop It Up Charity Basketball Game, delivering a fast-paced matchup that came down to the final seconds.

Team Red battled hard throughout the game but ultimately fell at the buzzer in a nail-biting finish. While the scoreboard was tight, the real victory came from the community support and charitable impact of the event.

The game successfully brought residents together to raise funds for local families in need during the holiday season, reinforcing the strong bond between first responders and the community they serve.

Organizers and participants thanked everyone who attended, cheered from the stands, and helped make this year’s charity game a meaningful success both on and off the court.
