Derry, NH — November 12 — Thanks to vehicles given by Weber Auto & Truck Parts, the Derry, New Hampshire Fire Department, located at 14 Manning Street, finished vehicle extrication training with its newest recruits. The instruction gave participants practical, hands-on experience extracting stranded passengers from damaged cars. Under the guidance of seasoned firemen, recruits learnt how to use hydraulic tools, stabilize cars, and establish secure access points.

Standard procedures for rescue operations at motor vehicle incidents are reinforced and confidence is bolstered by this kind of training. As recruits get to full operational status, it also facilitates ongoing skill development.
