Mutual Aid Response Brings Quick Support to Pine Drive Incident

Burlington Volunteer Fire Department responded just before 1:00 a.m. to assist Farmington Fire Department with a house fire on Pine Drive, located near the town line. Burlington firefighters provided mutual-aid support with additional personnel and resources as Farmington crews worked to bring the fire under control.
All occupants safely exited the home before arrival, and no injuries were reported. Burlington units assisted with fire attack and overhaul before clearing the scene later in the morning.
Department officials noted that strong regional partnerships help ensure an effective response to incidents that occur near town borders, especially during overnight hours when staffing can be limited. The fire is under investigation by local authorities.
