Members of the Roosevelt Fire District partnered with students in the current NDP/Empress EMT-B program for a hands-on extrication training session. The session focused on vehicle extrication, patient assessment, and safe removal techniques, giving firefighters and EMT candidates the chance to work together in controlled, realistic scenarios.

Training officers said these opportunities help new responders understand how fire and EMS roles support one another on motor-vehicle incidents. The district also thanked Cardinal Used Auto Parts for donating the training vehicles and continuing to assist the department’s preparedness efforts.
