November 23, 2025 — The Tabernacle Fire Department provided an update to last week’s training activities, announcing that members gathered Thursday night to complete Safety System bailout training using a mock window setup.
The hands-on session focused on emergency egress techniques that firefighters rely on when rapid self-rescue becomes necessary. Training like this strengthens operational readiness, builds confidence, and reinforces the department’s core mission: serving and protecting the community.
The department extended its thanks to Safety & Survival Training LLC for supplying the training prop and enhancing the volunteers’ toolkit with life-saving skills they hope never to need, but must always be prepared to use.
Great work to all members who participated and continue to invest in their own safety and proficiency.
