November 6, 2025 — Over the past two days, the Westampton Township Fire Department conducted intensive training focused on lifting and moving heavy objects—critical skills for handling complex rescue scenarios.
Crews practiced advanced operations involving under-ride incidents, including a vehicle trapped beneath a semi-trailer and another beneath a bus. These high-risk, low-frequency situations require precision, specialized tools, and coordinated teamwork, all of which were reinforced during the exercises.
The department extended its gratitude to Flynn's Towing & Recovery for their invaluable support throughout the training sessions.
Westampton Township Fire Department remains committed to maintaining peak readiness, ensuring responders are fully prepared to manage any emergency the community may face.
