November 22, 2025 — At 8:12 p.m. last night, Station 171 was dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street for a reported vehicle fire. Chief 1710 (Mitchell) arrived first and confirmed an active engine compartment fire.
Rescue Engine 1711 (Brockson) quickly went into service with a 1¾-inch handline to suppress the flames, while Tender 1716 (Foglia) arrived shortly after to provide additional water supply for the operation.
Crews worked efficiently to bring the fire under control, and all units cleared the scene shortly after 9:00 p.m. No injuries were reported.
