Auburn, NH — November 28 — Engine 2 has responded to several crashes along Route 101 near Candia, according to the Auburn Fire Department. On the same section of road, crews responded to three consecutive collisions. Drivers using that route were advised by police, firefighters, and emergency medical services to exercise caution and anticipate potential delays.

According to recent reports, a number of crashes on Route 101 were probably caused by icy road conditions. As a result, state troopers and local emergency services have reminded drivers to slow down, extend their stopping distance, and refrain from speeding on winter roads. In order to safeguard both themselves and the first responders working to safely clear the roads, Auburn Fire requests that anybody travelling Route 101 drive cautiously and remain vigilant.
