NEWBURGH, NY - On December 6th, Winona Lake and Orange Lake Fire Departments responded to a two-vehicle MVA involving a tractor-trailer rollover on the New York State Thruway at mile marker 63 northbound. On arrival the tractor-trailer was found over the guardrail on the east side of the Thruway, and the other vehicle involved was in the median. Town of Newburgh EMS and NYS Police responded to the scene. Firefighters contained a fuel spill from the tractor-trailer and checked the vehicle for any hazards. Both drivers were not injured. Firefighters stood by until the tow truck arrived. New York State Police are investigating the cause.
