Plainville Fire Department completed construction of the annual bonfire ahead of the town’s Winter Festival scheduled for Saturday, December 6. The bonfire is a long-standing community feature that supports public engagement and provides a safe outdoor gathering space during the event. Firefighters prepared the pile with proper spacing and materials to ensure controlled ignition and fire management during the festival.

The department acknowledged assistance from Plainville Pump for equipment support and Destito Tree Service for providing ground mats to protect the field during setup. Officials noted that planning and preparation help maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for residents.
