Brookline Fire Department welcomed Firefighter/Operator Pierre Lamont-Dobbin to the team following his graduation from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. He completed the 50-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program, which focused on fire suppression, search and rescue, hazardous materials response, and operating in coordinated fireground conditions. The Academy prepares new firefighters to work safely and effectively with their companies and mutual-aid partners.

Lamont-Dobbin entered shift assignments after graduation, joining frontline operations where he applies the skills learned during training. Department leadership said bringing new firefighters into service supports staffing and strengthens the community's overall response capability. The addition also reinforces the commitment to maintaining readiness for a wide range of emergency incidents. The Brookline Fire Department noted that his achievement marks the start of a promising career.
