Butts County Fire & Emergency Services on 21 November 2025 marked a productive and meaningful day highlighting the department’s commitment to community engagement, education, and operational preparedness.
The day began with Command Staff attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Senior Center—a modern, welcoming facility designed to support connection, care, and wellness for the county’s older residents.
Meanwhile, the Fire Safety Education Team continued its monthly fire-safety lessons at Daughtry Elementary School, teaching third-grade students essential safety practices. These ongoing efforts help build a safer future by empowering children with lifelong safety skills.
Later in the day, C-Shift firefighters strengthened their technical readiness through a hands-on vehicle extrication training session. These exercises ensure crews remain skilled and confident when responding to real-world emergencies where every second counts.
Through service, education, and training, Butts County Fire continues building a stronger, safer community—one day at a time.
