HANSON, MA - Around 8:30 P.M. on the evening of Sunday, December 4th, the Hanson Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with a possible rollover in the area of 845 West Washington Street. Hanson Engine-2 and Ambulance-2 responded. Companies were updated while responding that this was a two-vehicle accident with possible entrapment.

Companies arrived to find a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident with one car on its side in the area of West Washington Street and Sawmill Lane. All occupants were reported out upon the fire department's arrival.

The vehicle appeared to have struck a telephone pole prior to rolling over. One victim was transported to an area hospital. The Hanson Police Department is investigating the incident with the assistance of the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department's BCI Unit.
