The Swansea Fire Department celebrated the graduation of six new firemen from the Massachusetts Call/Volunteer Firefighting Academy. Firefighters Shane Neto (Station 1), Jacob Dillon (Station 4), Jared Koger (Station 2), Logan Estes (Station 2), Shane Justice (Station 2), and Maicon Vilas-Boas (Station 2) successfully finished the 240-hour program, which included both classroom study and hands-on skills training.

Department officials praised the graduates and welcomed them to the team, emphasizing that their certification boosts fire and emergency response skills throughout the community.
