No Injuries Reported After Ambulance Collision

Attleboro, MA — November 19 —An Attleboro Fire Department ambulance was engaged in a motor-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon while delivering a patient to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. With lights and sirens on, Rescue 2 pulled into the intersection of County Street and Thacher Street at around 2:52 p.m. and struck another car.
A second ambulance arrived to continue the patient’s transport. Officials reported that the patient did not receive any additional injuries during the incident. The driver of the second vehicle declined medical treatment, and both firemen operating Rescue 2 were unhurt. The crash is being investigated by the Attleboro Police Department, and inquiries about the inquiry should be directed to APD.
