In order to provide coverage at the Central Fire Station, Engine Company 1 of the Andover Fire Rescue responded to the Lawrence Fire Department on mutual assistance on 5th January. While Lawrence firefighters were working at a fire on Farnham Street, the assignment was made. Engine Company 1 made sure that the city has emergency response capabilities throughout the ongoing crisis by covering the station. At the moment of the response, Unit 4 was on duty.
