Manchester, NH — November 21 — The fire department from the City of Manchester, New Hampshire, came to Elliot Hospital to assist the staff and patients while disseminating crucial risk-reduction information. The outreach featured personnel of the Fire Marshal Division and the department’s mascot, Sparky, who visited children in the pediatric ward for light-hearted activities and interaction.

The visit focused on building trust with families and emphasizing fundamental fire-safety considerations, such as remaining alert of threats at home and knowing when to call for help.
