Canton, CT — November 15 — Town of Canton Fire & EMS members are putting the finishing touches on the Canton Fire/EMS Memorial Garden, a project designed to honor those who have served the city. The garden offers an enduring monument at the fire station, acknowledging devotion and service spanning generations of local firefighters.

The agency thanked considerable community support for helping advance the project into its final stage. Winding Brook Turf provided sod through retired member Mike Krudwig, crushed stone was donated by Canton Village Construction through retired member John Bahre, Suburban Sanitation supplied topsoil, and Pristine Landscaping assisted with equipment through owner Jackson Hurley. Officials said their contributions highlight the continued partnership between local businesses, former members, and the department in supporting public safety and community pride.
