Catskill Fire Company responded to a reported structure fire on Woodland Avenue. The first-due engine was staffed quickly with two Catskill firefighters and two mutual-aid ride-along members. Hudson Car 3 served as the chauffeur, and Pallenville Car 3 was assigned the nozzle position. The fire was out on arrival, and no additional suppression was needed.

The department noted that its ride-along program, now in its fifth year, continues to strengthen response capability and teamwork. Catskill’s tower crew remained ready but did not have to deploy. Leadership thanked the participating firefighters for their support of the department and the community.
